My 2020 Goals

Since I only finished one UFO from my list last year, I'm again making a short list to work on in 2020.  Here goes:

1. Make the patchwork blocks for Anna's Garden. 

2. Complete my Easy Street top

3. Quilt my Riverside quilt.

4. Add leaves  and flowers to the nine baskets blocks

5. Make the remaining basket in the center block of LE.

Of course I'll be making charity Baby quilts.  That and the above should keep me busy. Check out my forthcoming post for  a few more challenges. LOL.

2019 Charity Quilts

I belong to a group at church called St. Anne's Sewdality.  We make baby quilts for low-income mothers. We chose the 36" size because they're good for newborns, car seats and strollers.  We also give some to parishioners who need them. Theirs are bigger. Here are the ones I made:

We were given this fabric as a donation.  It had been fussy cut. I worked to salvage it and made a top.

My mom made the center and I added the large border and quilted it.

A baker's dozen.  Hope to make at least that many in 2020.  How about you?

My 2019 Finishes

Oh, this is terrible. I can't believe I only finished 1 of my six goals for 2019.  So you know what I'll be doing in 2020 - those other 5 - lol.  You can see those here.  The one I did finish:

Made three applique blocks

Started a scrap quilt

Wasn't on my UFO list but it was one. Now all finished.

This top was started in 2016 and finished that same year. Just needed quilting. It's for a family member. The blocks were from Pat Sloan's BOW Winter Solstice to make Angela's RSC challenge of the same year.

and no, I didn't buy a round pot holder and sew it together.  Made from scratch. In reality then, I finished 5 quilts this year (if I count those teeny ones), started 2, and quilted a bunch - mostly charity quilts.
