Some of This; Some of That

Stash Report:  Used .48 yards in making 17 six inch blocks. Also used .5 yds for my eagle. Donated 1 yd for a giveaway at Guild. New YTD total is  66.18 yds destashed.

On my design wall for the 17ufosin2017  in Oct is a WIP NOT on the list.  The eagle was sitting on top of one of my bookshelves. I picked it up and started to work on it again at the first of this month, pretty much like the Christmas WIP I worked on in October.
The block settings will change a bit - have three more blocks to make and the background to the eagle to cut. I'm thinking I'm picking up other UFOs and making them WIPs because some of the projects on my list have too much work. Ugh.

What are you up to?  Come by and I'll visit to see your work. I'm linking up to Oh, Scrap!, Design Wall Monday, BOMs Away, Moving it Forward, and Monday Making.

Blessings!

Quilted

 Bound
Ready to wash and deliver to my Guild's Community Service for the local NICU.
These are crumb blocks I made years ago.  I've found that if I make crumb blocks from the scraps of one quilt, they go together much faster.  One off my UFO list - one of the 17UFOs in 2017 I"m working on.  Measure 30" square.

As to the winners of the last two giveaways.  I'm sorry Moira and ledamewood  (Last week's winner - I've sent a message).  It's been a crazy three weeks. So now I'll have a bit of time to make the templates and send (hopefully).  I leave Thursday for a 10 day trip to CO and WA.

I'll be making those templates while I watch Father Brown.

I hope you all have a wonderful week.

Some of This; Some of That

First - destashing.  I'm working with small pieces, so small number generated for this week.  What with Bliss hexagons, En Provence units, test block, new baby quilt, and leaders and enders, I've used up about a yard of fabric. Then there was the back of the last baby quilt, so there was another 1.16 yards. My new YTD total is 55.63 yards.

Up on my design wall is a new baby quilt top:

These are again fabrics which I pulled out of a St. Anne's scrap bag.  I'm trying to use them up. I'm finding using the companion angle ruler and strips quite quick and easy to make the hourglass units. These blocks are 6 1/2" unfinished made from 3 1/2" strips.  Off to see what else is in that bag.
