I'm still working on that Anna's Garden block - it will continue to be my Sunday Slow Stitching.

I'm linking to quiltpaintcreate's Sunday Stash and Kathy's Slow Sunday Stitching.
Have you been destashing?
Goodness! I haven't posted since May! What a slug a bed I've been. But I have been quilting. You may notice that finishes were ...
A good week for you. Years ago I used freezer paper and starch to tun my edges, but now I use freezer paper and hand basting. I took the Craftsy class with Mimi Dietrich and it was worth every cent. My quilt group was surprised by how much it improved my applique. Maybe she has a book you could check out at the library.
ReplyDeleteA good week for you on your projects. I lost ground on destashing this week - have used about 2.5 yds, but in looking for sashing fabrics for my BOM for next year I bought a few pieces for the scrappy backgrounds that I love to use in my quilts. I haven't done that in a while tho so I don't feel bad because I know I'll be using them in planned quilts.
ReplyDeleteAll those little bits have really added up this year. I have no applique advice for you!
ReplyDeletesounds like a good week for you. I have a paper pieced project that I'm putting off.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the stash busting this year. Hope you got your eagle to finally work out.
