Some of This; Some of That 6/12/22

Okay, I did finally finish a UFO.  It's back from 2011.  It needed sandwiching, quilting and binding.
This was when our guild was making wheel chair quilts for the local Veteran's hospital.  They were to be 36" x 48"  - a 12 block quilt.  This one is for an Air Force vet.
Here's why I love cacti:
The plant had over 36 blooms on it.  It was very impressive. The yellow is so rich,

And I've heard there is a red variety!  I will look for it.  This is in the street side planting of our house. The walkway up to our front door is behind this planting.

What are you up to?  I'd surely like to know.  Blessings for you this coming week.

Design Wall Monday

Still trying to use up my scraps ( and I have a LONG way to go), so I found some 4" squares in a bag and thought to make a four patch quilt. it's on my design wall now. I'm letting it mellow and look on it daily to see if I should make any changes. It's going to be a baby quilt.

The two squares on the top is my leader and ender project for this year.  The blocks on the upper left is an idea I have for a possible quilt. And where is my UFO I should be working on - still in a bag. Ugh.

I'm linking up to Design Wall Monday and Scrap Happy Saturday (There's some blue in there - LOL).  Take a look for some eye candy and inspiration. Blessings!

This time Eight Donated Blocks and One Panel Block

for another baby quilt top going to St. Anne's.  This went together fast.  It is 38"  square.

What are you up to? My 15 minutes a day is producing results. So glad to get back to it. Linking to Quiltpaintcreate's Sunday Stash link party and Quilting is more fun than Housework.  I have been so lost to blogging that I'm wondering if there are any left from two years ago when I was posting more often.  If you know of one, or have one, please let me know so I can get into the posting on them again.  For this week, I just used a 11" x 11" square and the outer border to use (0.39 yards from my stash) for the top; None added to my stash.  Blessings,
