First 2019 UFO Report & Friday Finish

My challenge this year has a 2 month deadline. As February is over, it's time to report on what got accomplished.

For my new project I now have three blocks done of 40. This is my  Finished or Not Friday. Sigh, not as many as I wanted, but since I only started this in February, I'm not too discourage.  They get constructed as leaders and enders. The blocks measure out to 16.5" square.  On my design wall at this time.

I'm happy to report I did finish my UFO for the first two-month period.  Winter Blue is all done.
I started this in 2014 with Karen at faeriesandfibres.blogspot.com Soupçon quilt along.  It has taken me 4 years to feel confident enough to do my own quilting.

Has broderie perse, EPP and paper piecing.

I love the back.
I'm making a wall hanging for each month of the year.  This one will be for the month of January.  I've also got June, July, Aug, Sept, Oct, and November done.
Here's the July one hanging in the LR now.
Some baby tops done:

and got another round done on my Bliss EPP project.

Lastly made some scrap blocks from a scrap bag. I'll show those later. I'm linking to Finished or Not Friday, Can I get a Whoop, Whoop?, Free Motion Mavericks and a few others.  You can see them all in my Linky Parties tab under the header.  How did you do?

  4. Angie, your soupçon quilt is beautiful! I am so delighted to see your quilting, front and back! The quilting complements the piecing so well. After waiting four years, you are now well and truly ready to fly.

Thank you for linking up with Free Motion Mavericks - your quilt is this week's featured project!

    Love, Muv

All Comes to A Halt

Sighhhh....  While I was quilting I  ran my finger, somehow, under the needle. Went right through my left index fingernail right through to...
