I finished two this past month, and one was actually a quilt I had listed as getting done. I'm amazed.
My new project done was Sweet Land of Liberty (Lori's QAL that started in January):
All it needs now is a bit of embellishment on two blocks and then it can be sandwiched. With such a busy quilt top, how would you quilt it? I'm at a loss and welcome all suggestions.
The second finish is also from Lori - a weekly sew along in October where we made a mini quilt.
This one is all done and gifted already to a long time friend.
As to the UFO I was suppose to do this month, I didn't even look at it. It is destined to go on next year's list. How about you? How did you do? Would love to hear from you. Hopefully, I'll be able to make some progress in the coming last months of the year. I'm done travelling but Nov-Dec are the busiest with life events, so maybe not. Blessings!
I'm linking to Amanda's Finish it up Fridays , Can I Get a Whoop, Whoop? , Finished or Not Friday and Oh, Scraps as the SLOL came totally from scraps from my stash.
Blessings,

Yesterday was a tad difficult. Not only did I have the fun of having both boys here, but my TMJ and allergies were acting up, it got to...

Sighhhh.... While I was quilting I ran my finger, somehow, under the needle. Went right through my left index fingernail right through to...
It's not that I totally gave up on ufo's this year, but I have not done any ufo work since probably Feb. But there is always next year. If you are hand quilting, what about the simplest of big stitch cross hatching? and it does not even have to be straight to blend in.
ReplyDeleteI really like your mini with the rose center! Pretty colors!
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are amazing! Love em!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful projects, nicely done!
ReplyDeleteBoth are beautiful finishes! I have made good progress this month, but got sidetracked from Sweet Land of Liberty. I hope to get back to it sometime soon.
ReplyDeleteAngie life gets in the way some times and we have to let some things go. But be assured one day you will have hrs, days and even weeks to just sew where you will even forget about meals LOL Your wee mini is so so sweet, what size finished are the wee squares? I all ways use tiny square scraps for my starts and enders now when machine sewing and have piles of tiny squares sewn waiting for them to be made in to a card, mini or a big double quilt like I made this month past? Cheers Glenda
ReplyDeleteGreat finishes! Most of the things I wanted to finish this year are moving to next year's list because I keep starting new things!
ReplyDeleteGreat projects. I love seeing your whole SLOL. I have unit one finished, and need to put those blocks together and move on to unit 2.
