Some of This, Some of That

Used about a .01 yard of fabric on my next round of hexagons - So my new YTD total is 93.56 yards  de-stashed.

Have been hand stitching and added a round of hexies to my new project:

It's now has a diameter of about 8".  I'm linking to Kathy's Slow Sunday Stitching - have some more hexies prepped and ready to sew the next noodle.  I'm also going to link to Judy's Stash Report.

What are you up to?  Leave me a comment and I'll come by.  The hip is progressing. Today I went to an Anointing of the Sick mass. It was good to be out after a month being home.  I was way tired by the time we got home.  It reminded me I have a ways to go to normal.

Blessings.

  1. Recovery always seems to take longer than we think doesn't it. I look back and think, yes I wasn't my old self all that time.
I am piecing hexies today. My darling hsuband has offered to cook dinner, so I can sew all day!

  6. I'm not a hexie kind of gal...I did try with a workshop in September. I will finish a "very" small version of Patches of the Crosses. No more after that. I like what you have going with your start. Funny how the horses legs show in the hexies. Nice to hear you are able to get out of the house. Sandi

I need to work on finishing current projects and stop starting new ones.....then take a real look at what I can make with all of that fabric and such that is in my craft room!

  11. I hope you were anointed, because you sound still in pain, too. That's a very attractive hexagon. I laughed at your .01 stash use. You look like you might break 100!

All Comes to A Halt

Sighhhh....  While I was quilting I  ran my finger, somehow, under the needle. Went right through my left index fingernail right through to...
