No, I take that back - it sounds more like it's coming from the shaft that goes up and down. Should I be worried? It does sound louder than the camera picked up. I may have to get noise canceling earphones - lol.

DeleteI had the same question as Quilt Musings - is this something new? When my machine starts making new noises it is worrisome. I clean the machine (that makes a difference in the amount of noise), rethread top and bottom and try a new needle. If that fails. This usually solves the problem!
