This last three day weekend I went to my first Quilting Retreat. I'm still on a high from it. It was so much fun, and actually though I got a lot done - tiring. I'm such a wimp - while the others partied hardy (there were 24 of us), Friday I went to bed at 10 PM - some stayed up til 2 AM! The next day I was sewing by 7:30 AM and we kept having fun, til I gave it up at 10:30 PM - late for me, and I was going to get up at 5:30 to go to mass with my husband - the hotel is just three miles from the church. Others went to bed early, too - 1 AM - lol. The co-ordinators did a fabulous job - we had lots of make and take. Here are some:
Wow, Connie's Linky Tuesday, and Lenore's Let's Be Social. What have you been up to?

ReplyDeleteWhat fun projects from an amazing retreat. You just gave me an idea for a thread catcher which will fit in my little hand sewing bag, so thanks!
ReplyDeleteLove your make and take items, cute and useful. Retreats are great and I know what you mean by staying up late, but going to bed early, compared to others. I am exhausted by the time the weekend is over. So glad you went and had a blast. Next year will be here before you know it.
