On My Design Wall this Monday 12/17/12

Still time to visit Applique Thursday Giveaway for two chances (link or comment or both) to win a nice book. This week it's Celtic applique blocks

On my design wall is my Easy Street units.  I'm happy to say I'm all caught up.  I picked up my Bernina on Thursday and got busy on Saturday and finished part 3. Yesterday  I finished part 4!

Now don't be amazed - remember I'm only doing a 1/4 of the quilt -that means only a 1/4 of the units and that was only 16 for Part 4.  I'm really loving Bonnie's method for making geese.  Here's the tiny bit of trimmings from truing up my 16 - isn't that great.  Thanks so much, Bonnie, for teaching us how to do these your way.
I'm linking to Judy's Design Wall Monday, Bonnie's Easy Street and Lyn's BOMs Away.  Lots of eye candy there!

  1. Oh my your flying geese look wonderful! I'm so far behind - too much going on, and now hubby is sick. But I never plan to keep up anyway, so I'll just have to plug along and hopefully catch up soon :*)

A small pond quickly formed, and the balance of the impoundment became wetland. We can't blame the Chinese for any of this.

http://flyballbags.com Despite receiving the interpretation of what he had witnessed that night, in his write-up Evans-Pritchard says: never discovered its real origin, which was possibly a handful of grass lit by someone on his way to defecate, but the coincidence of the direction along which the light moved and the subsequent death accorded well with Zande ideas (ibid.) This is one approach to anomalous experiences: to admit that an experience has occurred, but to suggest that it true cause is most probably explainable in conventional terms and consequently does not accord with the understanding of the event.
