I've finished round 2 of my SAHRR (Stay at Home Round Robin). This one is my attempt to make this quilt a rectangle. Getting there - it's 27" by 36"
SAHRR Round 2
Stay at Home Round Robin
I was unable to join the SAHRR this year. This is a stay at home round robin hosted by Quilting Gail (See this years parade here). The non-blogger quilts are shown. If you'd like to see all of the others click on the link that says Click here to enter, and you will go to the Inlinkz party. You don't have to enter, but you can see all of the quilts. So fun!
Although, I didn't have time to make the 2023 version, I started my own SAHRR. It will take a longer time because of my limited time for quilting now - I'm good to even get 15 minutes in some days.
So here's my start:
Center block - ,measures 21" by 23". A print by John
Yep, I'm Ambitious.
Round 1:
That's as far as I've gotten. Starting on round 2 - making friendship stars. Have 14 to make of 18. Hope to make one a day. I want to make a twin bed size quilt from it.
Barbara Brackman did a BOW in 2015 doing sawtooth stars made out of Civil War fabrics each week. Barbara Black made a fabulous quilt out of these stars and a John Hewson medallion - see quilt here .
That's all for now. What are you up to? Would love to hear. Blessings,
