Some of This; Some of That 7/3/22

Progress has been made on my three UFOs. Fabrics added were all from my scraps and stash - mostly scraps.

The embroidered top now has a back and is quilted minimally to keep the top and back together. Just needs to be bound.

The red work quilt is now a row. It will be a wall hanging.  The third one now has sashing and the top border.  Did you make progress on your UFOs?  I'd like to see it. I'm linking to Oh, Scrap! , Quilting Patchwork and Applique, and Design Wall Monday.  See you there. Happy 4th those of you in the US and Happy Canada Day for all our Northern neighbors who celebrated on July 1st. Blessings to all.

A Squirrel Distracted Me!

Gone and done it. Not only do I have three UFOs to work on, I was browsing and saw a squirrel I had to chase.

Here's the results of the first race after him:

Back to the other three.  Blessings.  Stay cool if you are in the Northern Hemisphere.

Some of This; Some of That 6/26/22

Oh boy, now I've gone and done it! Went looking for another UFO to finish, and pulled out three not one to do in July.  We'll se how this goes - lol.

First one has been around maybe 5-7 years - my daughter would know.

It's the row on the bottom. Have to add the other two rows, sashing and one border and it will be ready to sandwich, quilt and bind.

The second one is the red and white two squares in the middle. That's a project my mom started by embroidering the squares and passing them on to me.  This won't be a big quilt as the squares only measure 4" and there are four rows.

The three blocks you see above that UFO isn't one - it's my leader and ender project.

The third UFO is this embroidered piece again from my Mom.

She made this some time ago (6 years ago?).  It needs a backing, a little quilting and binding.

I'm linking to Design Wall Monday once the link is up.  Thanks for stopping by. Blessings. Have a wonderful, cool week.

Progrees is Made

Progress is made, at least some.  More blocks were added to the baby quilt I was working on (see previous post). More scraps were used. I...
