Some of This; Some of That

First the stitch report for the last two weeks.  I've been able to sew 12 of the past 14 days.  Here's my new stats for Jan 5 -18, 2020:
15 minute days/past 2 weeks = 12/14 days
15 minute days/January = 15/18 days
15 minute days/2020 = 15/18 days

Success rate = 83.3%
That's an improvement over 75% from the first week.

As to my fabric usage - I've used 0.77 yards in the last two weeks on two projects.  Bought some pieces of yardage, but since I'm using it for the test pattern, and it's not going into my stash, I'm not counting it. So my first YTD total is .77 yards destashed. That's a slow start but it should be picking up fast with the three baby quilt tops I've got waiting for backs.

What have I been doing during those two weeks?  Well, I signed up to be a tester for a pattern designer. Therefore, I can't show you my stitching at this time.  So here's a snack mat from way back in 2015.

This measured 7" square and was for a swap on one of the groups I belong to on Facebook.  Linking to 15 minutes a Day for 2020 and Stash report.  See you there.

Some of This; Some of That 1/6/20

Before I'm more into this New Year, here's my report on 15 Minutes to Stitch in 2020 for the first week Jan 1-4:
15 minute days/week = 3/4 days
15 minute days/January = 3/4 days
15 minute days/2020 = 3/4 days
Success rate = 75%

I"m not worried at that success rate as it was a short week. I'm in line to do better as I'm only having my granddaughter one day a week and watching my grandson after school. More time to quilt!

I already have another baby quilt top done.  This was made from two charm packs that a friend gave me for St. Anne's. I also used a bit of yardage from my stash for the corners.
There's nothing on my design wall as I just took the one above down.  As to goals for 2020, I'm going to work on those five UFOs I didn't get very far with - only finished one.  You can see those here.  Also, I'm going to work on a special project with my friend, Clare.  She lives in New Zealand.  Then I'm going to Quilt Along with the American Quilters' Society. They want to make a quilt each month, and they're not small.  I'm going to use the pattern to make baby quilt tops, so mine will be small. Lastly, I've signed up to be a tester for a wonderful website, but I can't tell you much more about that.  I've gotten my first assignment and I love it!

I'm linking to Design Wall Monday and 15 Minutes to Stitch in 2020.  See you there.

My 2020 Goals

Since I only finished one UFO from my list last year, I'm again making a short list to work on in 2020.  Here goes:

1. Make the patchwork blocks for Anna's Garden.

2. Complete my Easy Street top

3. Quilt my Riverside quilt.

4. Add leaves  and flowers to the nine baskets blocks

5. Make the remaining basket in the center block of LE.

Of course I'll be making charity Baby quilts.  That and the above should keep me busy. Check out my forthcoming post for  a few more challenges. LOL.

October Doings

October is behind us.  Does that put us in the Winter months?  I think it does. The skies have been foggy in the mornings - a thick fog that...
