Hello! Happy New Year and God's blessings throughout 2026. I have a finish to report, and I'm so happy to have it done. There's a young family that I've been watching coming to the crying room at our church. She waddled in the Sunday after Thanksgiving and I knew she didn't have much time left before a new, precious baby would come into the world.
So here it is January, and they came back to church the weekend after Christmas. It's another girl for them. I've let St. Anne's know that this quilt that I finished is going to a particular family. They're excited to be able to have one of our quilts go to our parish family.
Here it is:
I'm linking up with Monday's Musings, Stories from the Sewing Room, and Design Wall Monday. Check them out. Lots of love and hugs to you all.

Lots of blessings to you too, Angie for the new year. What a great way to start a new year with a gift for a newborn. It's really cute too, with the ladybugs and the elephants. Bravo and take care. ;^)
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you, Chantal!! You take care also and stay warm. I'm a SoCal girl and I'm not use to temps under 50. Went to PA to visit a gravely ill sister in law and one night when we were heading out to dinner, it was 27 with a wind chill of 19. Was I cold?!
DeleteWhat a lovely quilt gift!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kim. I tried to leave a comment on your website, but every time I hit publish it went back to empty. ? Lots of great projects there, especially your junk journal and the two quilts. Such a variety of creativeness.
DeleteGreat post and lovely baby blanket, Angie. I've had this block in my 'someday to do' list. maybe this year. it is a happy block
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kat. I saw this block I believe on pinterest and made it bigger to make a 36" quilt. I also thought it was a happy block. Blessings,
