Applique Tuesday & Etc

On my design wall, I've added a few bits - some more machine appliqued hexie blocks, another sorta/kinda flag block.
Today I was working on a SS block that needs some hand applique. Had 2 1/2 hours at the doc's (DH's appt) to work on it. Got the machine and heart done. Now just the grey bits to do. I did read half of a book, ate lunch, and talked to others waiting, or would have gotten more done.

Lovely blocks Angie. The sewing machine is so cute. That background fabric reminds me of the wallpaper my mother had in her kitchen when I was young. Her sewing machine was in the kitchen too so that block looks like home to me. It's cool to see it. ;^)
