WIP Wednesday

This work in progress is my finished flimsy top for St. Anne's. I call this a finish because I only do the flimsy. I took a  24 by 42 panel and cut off the blocks at top and bottom. I made some row blocks and added them to the blocks and set them on the sides.  Then took a solid to finish at 37 x 35 - a more useable size for a baby quilt.  This WIP now goes to other St. Anne's workers to sandwich, tie, and bind.  I'm linking at WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced and Amanda's Finish it Up Friday.

  1. Good work - the ones that drive me crazy is when there isn't anything to cut off. When they do blocks at the top and/or bottom it isn't too bad.

  2. Someone will truly appreciate this!

  3. Adorable fabric. I'm sure it will be a treasure!

  4. Cute quilt! I like how you made the extra side borders!
