Gosh, it's September and sprinkling outside??! Despite the crazy weather, here is my latest block from the Hop. I picked the background thinking it would look like wind in the sky. My mom thought it was water.
What do you think?

Sky to me...and a very blustery day!
ReplyDeletewith all the water that Canada has recieved in rain over the past 2 or 3 weeks I have to say it looks like water to me.. and flood water at that. It's good to see that the quilt is safe.
ReplyDeleteI think if you put some ground down it would look like sky.. but without that it could be either!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Mommarock. If you put down a ground in brown or green, it will look like a very windy day. I can see it both ways. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteI think if you broke it up and put some green or brown at the bottom half to look like like grass or dirt then it might look more like a windy sky. But as it sits now, it looks like water.
ReplyDeleteIt's a really cute block! Love the little quilt blowing in the breeze! I agree with some of the other comments. The tree needs to be anchored to some grass or a rocky knoll.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you Angie. I think it looks like a windy cloudy sky
