For my first WIP Be Gone I put these blocks from two different BOMs on my design wall. One was the Just Takes Two BOM of 4 years ago and my local guild's BOM from last year. Both I got in over my head with all the rest I had to do. I'll be taking what I made and combining them to get to Done.
Question is will I count this as two WIPs done or one?
I'm linking to Judy's Design Wall Monday, Lyn's BOMs Away, and Esther's WOW (See sidebar, right). Don't miss them.

These blocks look like they come from the same project! They'll make a great sampler quilt. I say count them as two because it is two WIPs being used!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! They have the same background fabric, right? So perfect for a merge - I say count as 2!!
ReplyDeleteYou'll only have one finish, but it was a 2 WIP project. So I'd count it as two.
ReplyDeleteI vote for 2! ~Melanie
ReplyDeleteCount as two...:))
ReplyDeleteYes, the blocks do look like they are from one BOM, but that is because I used the same background fabric. I had bought a wide backing to use on another quilt and had so much left over I knew I could use it for both BOMs and still have a little bit left over. But they are blocks from two BOMs.
ReplyDeleteIt will be soooo lovely. I love the background fabric. Since you are scratching off two projects from the WIP list, you have to count them as two. Way to go!!
ReplyDeleteI think there are lots of possibilities there. I can hardly wait to see what you do.
ReplyDeletethey look as they were made to go together
ReplyDeleteThey look excellent together. It is going to be gorgeous when done.
