SAHRR Round # 1

 A wee bit behind but I got Round 1 done Tuesday but didn't have time to post due to my care giving duties. Here is round one:

The round called for quarter square triangle blocks.  I chose to do one in each corner.

Round 2 is a churn dash block.  I'll see what I'll come up with.

A Finish To Start Off 2026


 Hello! Happy New Year and God's blessings throughout 2026. I have a finish to report, and I'm so happy to have it done. There's a young family that I've been watching coming to the crying room at our church. She waddled in the Sunday after Thanksgiving and I knew she didn't have much time left before a new, precious baby would come into the world.

So here it is January, and they came back to church the weekend after Christmas. It's another girl for them. I've let St. Anne's know that this quilt that I finished is going to a particular family.  They're excited to be able to have one of our quilts go to our parish family.

Here it is:



I was pleased that there are Tinkerbells (just right for a girl) in this quilt which measures 36.5" square. Good size for newborns, car seats and strollers. There is a cute elephant flannel for the back.  All I need to do now is label and wash. It will be ready for Sunday.
