Design Wall Monday 1/13/13

On my design wall is one of the Guild BOM blocks. That's as far as I've gotten - 4 more rows to go for it to be done for tuesday guild night.  Gotta go sew!  I'm linking to Judy's Patchwork Times and Lyn's BOMs Away.  Go see all that eye candy!



2nd 2013 Stash Report

Too busy to do any quilting, but I did take a few moments to pull some fabric for a Guild BOM block, so there is 0.2 yards. Also donated a yard to St. Anne's of novelty fabric I found while looking for those BOM block scraps. Here are my numbers:

This week: +0.0 yds.; -0.20 yds.
Donated: 1.0 yds; YTD:  1.0 yds
Stash YTD: +2.5 yds., -1.75 yds.
Net used in 2013: +0.75 yds.  A bit less than last week.

Applique Thursday on Saturday

What with out-of-state company, airport run to pick up my mom who has a bad cold, sick daughter-in-law, babysitting, doctor's appointment, St. Anne's, rain, cold weather - it got down to 32 yesterday morning, sewing room at 61 - it MIGHT as well be 32 as far as I'm concerned - I can't function at that temp, Guild business, online sales for the Friends, and my still bum leg, I got one leaf done on my Anna's Garden block 5:

I am not a happy camper when I can't even do 10 minutes a day of my quilty destressing!  And next week doesn't look much better - but I am going to be positive because all the donated stuff to guild will be out of my sewing room and I may able to walk in there! Yeah.  Sorry, no giveaway this time, and probably none next week either - depends on how much time I get to sew.  Would love some eye candy to at least look at.  Keep on Quilting!
