Applique Tuesday

This will be short. Laser eye surgery tomorrow.  Here's my Splendid Sampler block #36.  I paper pieced it with invisible thread, and machine appliqued with invisible thread.

    My husband who had 500/500 vision with cataracts beginning had laser surgery in both eyes and can see now with 30/20 vision!

  11. I am going to borrow your leaf idea for my quilt. I have a hexie block which is, I think, kind of boring so if I do what you did and add leaves to the hexie to make it look more like a flower, I might like the block. Hope this is okay!
