I'm so befuddled. It wasn't until seeing Esther's WOW that I realized it was Tuesday again, and time to post about some applique in my life. I actually finished LE Part 3:
If this doesn't look different to you - I added the heart circles and the oak leaf units on the sides. Now I'm adding a vase of flowers in the left bottom corner and for the live of me, can't decide what to use for the vase. Here are 6 I am considering:
The two bright ones look both orangy but the upper right one is really red. Now which of these would you pick for a vase of flowers given the colors you see in the center I am working on? I really want to know. And if you have eye candy to share - that would be so great! Linky below.

Yesterday was a tad difficult. Not only did I have the fun of having both boys here, but my TMJ and allergies were acting up, it got to...

Sighhhh.... While I was quilting I ran my finger, somehow, under the needle. Went right through my left index fingernail right through to...
Oh Angie your LE does look so lovely and I had to laugh when I saw all the vases as I went through the same dilemma before I finally settled on mine. I love the last one bottom row right hand side those mauves tie in with the cones. But thats just my choice go with what YOU like as it is YOUR quilt. Cheers Glenda
ReplyDeleteWOW Angie -- how exciting to have all that work done on your LE! It's really looking quite beautiful! Your vase dilemma is a good one... from this point of view it looks like the top blue vase... or the vase directly under it would be very pretty. Although I am not a blue person -- it seems to me that they would draw the blues out from the center and allow you to do more pink/reddish flowers coming out of the vase.. ?? Can't wait to see what you decide. I love it !
ReplyDeletelooking good! am finally getting a start on mine ... have cut out the pieces for part 1!
ReplyDeleteSimply gorgeous Angie!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAngie looks like you are enjoying making your gorgeous LE.

I think your LE is turning out gorgeous. I like the material down in the lower right (or no. 6) for the vase but you'll just have to lay them around and see how it turns out. :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the blues or flower tones....
ReplyDeleteYour LE is looking really nice. Now as for my choice for the vase it would have to be either of the last two fabrics. They both would help with your explosion of colors. Kinda of a calming effect and could allow you to continue with your choice of brights.
ReplyDeleteTu LE es maravilloso y elijo el azul , el de abajo.
ReplyDeleteWOW! Angie! it is wonderful so far. I like the top blue vase the best for lots of colorful flowers.
