My SIL, Arlene, was here for two weeks. Not a whole lot of quilting was done - too busy visiting and hanging out together. But we did manage to make a quilt for my niece, her granddaughter, Nadine. We did the fast (about 6 hours) tube quilt method - from picking fabric to assembling it, to done. I didn't have a flannel large enough for the backing, so off we went to Jo-Ann's . Arlene found a darling kitty fabric to use for it. Nadine loves kitty, so it was perfect. We bound it in a nice light purple. Those are two of her favorite colors - pink and purple.
She nine year's old, so this 42 by 56" lap quilt should work for a while.
