For the Twister book giveaway go here - closes Monday, midnight.
Even with hexies one sometimes has to get the seam ripper out.
Sewed the two wrong edges together. Pay attention, Nudge!
How are your hexies looking? Would love to see your eye candy. Any project will do - old or new. Linky below.
And I've got another finish! Made a Happy Bag (pattern here - click on Community Service tab) - these go to the kids at the Cancer Center of Loma Linda Hospital at Christmas.
Yup, that's me holding it. We fill these with little gifts for the kids who need some TLC. I'm linking to Crazy Mom's Finish it Friday. Lots of goodies there.

Sighhhh.... While I was quilting I ran my finger, somehow, under the needle. Went right through my left index fingernail right through to...
Your hexies look great Angie! Congratulations on your finish. I was too busy taking pictures of my man....giggle......that's my eye candy!
ReplyDeleteYou only added one hexie on the wrong side. I made twice as many large units as I needed, and took them apart to re-use. I'm still using some of the leftovers in the final row of the quilt centre. Hopefully I can use the rest in the borders!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the finish Angie! Love the hexies too!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute hexie and congratulations on the finish, sure the kids would be delighted.Have a fun weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh Angie, I have done the same thing with my hexies. :)
ReplyDeleteHa, ha, I thought I was the only one to do mistakes in a hexie project.
ReplyDeleteI was always afraid that hand sewing the hexies would not be strong enough to hold the quilt together. But than I had to unsew a couple of them and I was amazed at how difficult it was to get them apart. Great hexies, by the way.
