Applique Tuesday Part Deux

I'm back with a plea for your opinion.  I've kept working on my LE and can't decide between these two versions of the wedge shape order.  They're just laid them around the compass for now.
Version 1
 or Version 2
What do you think?

    I like the first version of your LE block. Don't ask me why but that one appeals to me more. You are coming along nicely on LE. Almost (notice the word almost) makes me feel guilty for not starting it yet. If I could do it as nicely as you can, perhaps it would motivate me more. :) Keep up the great work.

    If this is a scrappy quilt I like version two better. The 1st one is to planned for scrappy quilt. Just my option take it or leave it.

      This will be a scrappy version in that it will all come from my stash - I know scrappy is harder than one would think. I'm leaning toward 2 myself. And yes, 1 was planned as I was trying to sort-of do the color wheel. Thanks for commenting, Marti!

    I really like both but the second seems to be more balanced to me, not sure why. Either way, it looks awesome.

    Hi Angie,
    Both versions a very nice, but I guess my eye goes to the second one. But, I don't think you'd go wrong with either one. The whole block is absolutely gorgeous!!

    I like the second one best. If the center had been laid out in a rainbow-esque pattern, then I think I'd choose the first one. But since the colors in the center are distributed around the center ring, I think the 2nd option enhances that.
