On my design wall this morning is the start of my BOM block for our guild. Didn't get very far:
My first set of out of state company won't be coming after all - flights have been cancelled and she lives in NJ which is shut down right now awaiting the arrival of Hurricane Sandy. Adding to the worries is that my daughter and grandson were scheduled to fly out with her tomorrow, but are now stranded for the hurricane also. Please say a prayer for them.
I'm linking to Judy's Patchwork Times and Lyn's BOMs Away. Do visit for eye candy galore.

Flimsy Coming Soon
Three days of playing with scraps and yardage. Just need 2 borders to make this a finished baby quilt flimsy. Blessings,

Yesterday was a tad difficult. Not only did I have the fun of having both boys here, but my TMJ and allergies were acting up, it got to...

Sighhhh.... While I was quilting I ran my finger, somehow, under the needle. Went right through my left index fingernail right through to...
My Father and step-Mom live along the Jersey coast (near Alantic City) so I understand you worries. Prayers being said.
ReplyDeleteOh my - not good news :( I will be praying for your sweet ones to find their way safely home!
ReplyDeleteMy aunt is in New Jersey - they've lost power, but still have their gas heat, so they are doing OK, sitting bravely with their cell phones that they power up in the car so they can still check in online now and then. I sure hope your daughter and grandson are alright. That's some storm out there, eh? :/
ReplyDeleteYour Bom work looks interesting, with a mini version of the larger one. Are these a big and little pair, or is the smaller piece a unit that works in with the larger one? :)
Cann't wait to see the finished BOM. I hope everyone is safe and doing great now that the hurricane is out of the way.
