WIPs Be Gone

A couple of SS blocks done that I've shown you, and not much else. But I did work on my 29 year old project slightly.  Have finished one side and almost another - just two motifs to go, so I trimmed the excess batting and backing off that done side.
It feels a lot lighter now that I've off that extra 6 inches of batting and backing  (probably just psychologically).

I also got a couple more hexie flowers machine appliqued to their backgrounds:
Four more rows to go -and those stars and strips are for another project.

What are you working on?  I'd love to see. There's a mystery quilt book for someone. Same guidelines apply:   Leave me a comment for one chance.  Link your eye candy for another. Follow me and let me know for a third. Remember if you don't have a blog, you can always post a photo from a photostream or photo service.  Please be sure there is some way for me to contact you. Ends next Thursday, midnight. I'll be linking to several parties. Tab above. Blessings!

  3. I've got a few WIPs/UFOs on my to-do list, managed to get two baby quilts out of the way this week (must admit one was a new project using leftovers from another quilt - was 'easier' than just putting the leftovers away in the stash LOL!) Next up, some dining chair covers that my mother asked for about 18 months ago, yikes, and a quilt for my mother-in-law's 80th birthday).

  5. Thanks for the reminder about the giveaway on your newest post. I did link up but forgot to leave a comment. I too use all kind of fruit trays and cookie trays. I find them very handy. See this post for the cookie trays uses. http://atthecornerofscrapandquilts.blogspot.ca/2016/06/logging-on-full-moon.html
Anywho! I also love the fabric used for the bag. It is very tween. Good job! ;^)

  7. I'm a little late linking, but I made it before the end! I really like the hexagons with the stars and stripes. LOL, but okay, you can put them in different quilts if you must. So nice to make progress on hexagons, isn't it?
