I'm a little late in posting this - at least it is still the right day. Life has been busy!
Here's a little more done on my fourth Jubilee Album block.
Good thing I have this to post to or I wouldn't have gotten any done. I'm determined to declutter and it's taking a lot of time, as each item must be analyzed and determined if stay or go. It's like that story I read on the internet - the lady was going to the store but stopped to water her flowers but had to get her boots and then on the way she found a book that needed to go to the library....you get the picture. Sighh.
Need eye candy! Please share what you're up to applique or not, and you might win a 5" batik charm (comment or link work for me). And speaking of charms - the winner for last Applique Thursday was Kathy from Florida! Your charm goes out to you today, Kathy. Congrats!!

Yesterday was a tad difficult. Not only did I have the fun of having both boys here, but my TMJ and allergies were acting up, it got to...
Angie - thank you so much for the orange batik charm that arrived on Monday - it was a nice bright spot on a rainy day :)
ReplyDeleteI had to go way back to find an applique post to leave here...although I have done some recent simpler blocks this is my baltimore quilt block; http://stone-belle.blogspot.com/2011/05/design-wall.html
ReplyDeleteThanks again, Angie! I'm so excited, I never win anything :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I found your blog and your Thursday link-up. Most of my applique is done by machine (I hope that still counts!) but I am so inspired by what I have seen here. Looking forward to seeing what everyone else has been working on.
No applique this Thursday BUT my 6yo grandniece finished piecing her first quilt top for her doll. My dear mother (her great grandmother) was frazzled after today's lesson. Of course, DGN had to show me and tell me all about her quilt (holes and all).
ReplyDeleteAngie -- this is an old post -- but it does have some beautiful Machine Applique and DSM Quilting that I'm up to. I won't have it done for Memorial Day like I had hoped... but... it will be done soon. Thanks for the linky party and have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Karen
