En Provence

The first project I worked on during last weekend's Quiltathon was En Provence.  I finished a few units I needed to fill in spaces and it was ready to lay out and label for assembly.
I'll make the border units another day.  Yes, mine is going to be a one block table topper measuring about 33" when I add the border.  I really like it and am so glad I played along on Bonnie's Mystery.  Go here to see more versions at Bonnie's post today.  Thanks so much, Bonnie.

    Very nice. I don't do mystery BOMs because part way through I usually realize I should have chosen different fabrics/colours, etc. lol I admire those of you who participate and make good choices. k

    You did a great job, Angie. I like it very much. I too am thinking of using the units I have made on one block only. Not because it isn't a nice quilt, it is a gorgeous design Bonnie made, but because I have other interest already. So easily distracted, lol. ;^)

    this is such an interesting block have seen quite a few quilts done and very impressed with all I have seen have saved the downloads for another day maybe 2019!

    I love the idea of taking that one block and using it for a smaller finished project. I told myself I wasn't going to work on any large quilts this year, just smaller projects. I've started some BOM's and will decide later whether to put them together as one large quilt (did I really say that?) or make several smaller quilts. Two of the BOM's I'm using the same color theme so I can mix and match.

    Sometimes we get caught up in the momentum of a group and tell ourselves we must continue through to the end of the big project. We really don't have to do that, and we must determine for ourselves what works best for us. Making smaller quilts allows us to make more quilts and we have SO SEW many out there we want to make, right?!
