Some of This, Some of That

Look what a lovely gift we got!

Thank you so much, Marcia.  We've never had a live wreath before and it is such a treat.  Smells wonderful and looks so pretty at night with the lights on.  We're have days in the 60s and lows in the 40s so Frank hung it outside so it will lasts a good long while.

I've destashed another 1/2 yard what with Bonnie's mystery and my leaders and enders. The new YTD total is 53.47 yards.
Just a few though as I've been quilting that Christmas quilt which is now done and bound.
I just need to add embellishments and a label. Then I'll take a front on photo. Yeah! My two goals are met before the 9th.  And progress has been made on part 2 of En Provence:
I have a pile of pieces cut for these tri-rec blocks. Whenever I walk into that room I'll chain a few.  It's so funny.  I sat down at my Bernina to machine bind the quilt and I kept reaching for the wheel to start a seam. How quickly one gets into a routine.

Have a blessed day!

How lovely to have a live wreath. We are heading into summer heat here. You seem to have managed a lot to me. Love the Christmas quilt and your treadle machine. Might do thst with our one. I like the thought of a different project at each machine. Wouldn't be bored. Have a happy day.
I finally gave in and joined Bonnie in her Mystery Quilt. Don't expect magenta in mine though I love yours. I usually work on both machine too. One is to piece, the other has the walking foot presently. Sometimes it's black thread / white thread and so on.
Enjoy! ;^)

Wow, is that a working treadle machine? It's GORGEOUS!! It must be such a treat to sew with that machine!
Lots of pretty projects going on and oh that machine is lovely!

I have forgotten that Christmas is supposed to smell like pine :) When I was a girl and then a young married I always had a live tree and that wonderful scent would infuse the house.

Looks like lots of quilting fun at your house. And even some sewing on a treadle machine! I'm thinking that is a sure way for a quilter to get some exercise!
That is a gorgeous wreath!! What a wonderful gift! Such great sewing progress this week. I've enjoyed watching everyone making the parts of their blocks on Bonnie's FB group. You all are having way too much fun!! :)
Love your machine, what a peaceful feeling you must get from using it.

Hello Angie,
Such a lovely treadle! You have really got a Christmassy feel to your house already. The Christmas quilt is beautiful, and the wreath has reminded me that I should get going and make one out of bay and holly from the garden...
Thank you for linking up with Free Motion Mavericks!
Love, Muv
