Some of This, Some of That

Used about a .01 yard of fabric on my next round of hexagons - So my new YTD total is 93.56 yards  de-stashed.

Have been hand stitching and added a round of hexies to my new project:

It's now has a diameter of about 8".  I'm linking to Kathy's Slow Sunday Stitching - have some more hexies prepped and ready to sew the next noodle.  I'm also going to link to Judy's Stash Report.

What are you up to?  Leave me a comment and I'll come by.  The hip is progressing. Today I went to an Anointing of the Sick mass. It was good to be out after a month being home.  I was way tired by the time we got home.  It reminded me I have a ways to go to normal.

Blessings.

Recovery always seems to take longer than we think doesn't it. I look back and think, yes I wasn't my old self all that time.
I am piecing hexies today. My darling hsuband has offered to cook dinner, so I can sew all day!
That tiny heart in the center is so sweet!

Great stash reduction! Hang in there, Angie, and don't overdo.

I'm not a hexie kind of gal...I did try with a workshop in September. I will finish a "very" small version of Patches of the Crosses. No more after that. I like what you have going with your start. Funny how the horses legs show in the hexies. Nice to hear you are able to get out of the house. Sandi

Congrats on your fabric usage! Recuperating takes time though it is nice to get out for a bit.

Hexies go very quickly and are a great hand project. Recuperation can seem like it takes forever. Glad you were able to get out fora bit.

Slow Sunday Stitching and Judy's Stash Report both sound like things I should check out.
I need to work on finishing current projects and stop starting new ones.....then take a real look at what I can make with all of that fabric and such that is in my craft room!

I hope you were anointed, because you sound still in pain, too. That's a very attractive hexagon. I laughed at your .01 stash use. You look like you might break 100!
